KSA (SAM) Sessions

We offer KSA (formerly SAM) sessions to help you fulfill the 60-question Knowledge Self-Assessment and meet your ABFM’s Family Medicine Certification Self-Assessment Activities requirement.

Physicians work together to complete the assessment and the answers are recorded with ABFM on your behalf.  The session is facilitated and a content expert is also on hand.

Virtual KSA: Cerebrovascular Disease Register Now

This virtual learning session will be delivered nationwide to a large group of physician learners at the same time, bringing the issues of cerebrovascular disease directly to the physician's home or office with guidance from a peer expert.

KSAs are now eligible for up to 8 AAFP Prescribed credits; 8 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.

Pricing - Administrative Fee (Fees paid to the MAFP do not include the ABFM Maintenance of Certification fees).

Application for CME credit has been filed with the American Academy of Family Physicians. Determination of credit is pending.

What to Expect

  • Review 60 core competency questions with an experienced facilitator and content expert, and decide the best answer with your colleagues.
  • The AAFP will report your answers directly to the ABFM on your behalf; if you have questions about ABFM certification please contact ABFM.
